CPD webinar | The road to real time reporting (for members in Australia)
On this webinar, we will review the key findings of ACCA recent research piece – the road to real time reporting. This research is the first stage of a four-part project will aim to define more closely different categories of investors, and will assess how the changing investment environment is having an effect on investment strategy and asset allocation. This research will give us the base of information which will inform further project stages – which will go on to look at how this is affecting investors’ requirements from corporate reporting.
Director of Policy
A politics and economics postgraduate of Aberystwyth and Plymouth Universities, Ewan has had a rich career working in Brussels and London across a range of sectors, specialising in policy and public affairs.
Ewan first entered into a policy role working for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Following success in lobbying for changes to UK planning law and state aid regimes at the European level, he moved on to manage the policy and public affairs teams at the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). This role increased his experience in thought leadership, through management of RIBA’s Building Futures think tank.
Swapping the world of property for the financial sector, he joined ACCA in December 2010, taking up the role of policy director. In the last eight months Ewan has reinvigorated ACCA’s research and insights work, a key element of our global strategy, and heads up the policy, research and small business units.
